Conference VenueThe QUESTnet2005 conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Coolum, a world class facility located on Queensland’s beautiful Sunshine Coast. Set at the base of Mount Coolum, this resort covers 150 hectares (350 acres) of exquisitely natural woodlands, bushland, rainforest, wallums and gardens. The resort hotel fronts onto the Pacific Ocean and two kilometres of pristine Sunshine Coast beach. Hyatt Regency Coolum offers a variety of hotel accommodation provided in discrete clusters of low-rise resort suites, set in natural Coolum bushland and rainforest. Each suit is closely located to the resort’s facilities which include a championship golf course, Tennis Centre, Sun Spa, Resort Gift Shop and private-access beach. A variety of hotel dining choices are also available, from the comfortable atmosphere of the McKenzie Grill to the contemporary surrounds of FishTales and the relaxed, resort atmosphere of the Village Square with its tantalising variety of food and beverage outlets. AccommodationDiscounted accommodation rates have been negotiated at the Hyatt Regency Coolum as detailed below. Martin Lack and Associates Rooms: Studio King / Twin Suite Studio Suites are available for singles or couples (king or twin-bedded). The suites have a living and dining area, spacious bathroom and individual balconies. All suites are air-conditioned, with minibar, television, private safe and bedside touch-control consoles. Single/Double - $189 (Triple not available) Woodland Villa Two to four people can be accommodated comfortably in each villa. The king-bedded master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom whilst the second twin-bedded bedroom has an adjacent bathroom. All villas contain lounge and dining areas, laundry facilities and a kitchenette with hotplates and a microwave. Breakfast Accommodation rates include two daily breakfasts in the Single and Double Room Rate and three breakfasts in the Triple Room Rate. Breakfast is served from 6:30 – 10:00am and includes an array of fresh fruit, chilled juices, cereals, pastries, toast and freshly brewed tea and coffee. For an additional $15.00 per person, you can enjoy a delightful Hot Buffet Breakfast upgrade in Brushetta (subject to availablity). Hyatt Coolum Transfer Service A transfer service from the Sunshine Coast Airport and return is available for $18.00 per person. Valet parking is available at $20.00 per vehicle per stay.
