Visa Information

Passport holders from some countries may be eligible to obtain an electronic visa, called an ETA (Electronic Travel Authority). Eligible applicants do not need to go to an Australian mission overseas or fill in forms to apply for an ETA. For more information see http://www.immi.gov.au/eta.

For those not eligible for an ETA our access to an International Event Coordination Network within the Australian Immigration department, enables us to provide details to immigration about our delegates so they can start on the security checks they perform, prior to your official application.

In the current global security climate, visa processing will be quite stringent and immigration have recommended that you allow 4-6 weeks for application processing. By using the network available to us we hope to expedite what you see of the process. In order to assist in this we require further details from you to give to Immigration:

  • Date of Birth
  • Country of Passport, Passport Number, date of issue/expiry
  • Contact person in your organisation both in your country and Australia (if applicable)
  • What financial/other assistance is being provided for your trip to Australia (ie your organisation is paying for the trip, etc)
  • General information about visiting Australia can be obtained via http://www.immi.gov.au.
