The Impact of the National Broadband Network on Higher Education and Research

The NBN Will Transform Higher Education and Research.

The ubiquitous nature as well as increased performance of the network will create opportunities and challenges.

The NBN is not an end in itself. It is the applications and services that the NBN enables that will transform the Economy including higher education.

Those institutions that understand the impacts on existing business process and service delivery models will be best placed to reap the benefits.

The NBN will enable new virtual Higher Education models.
