Universities are increasingly using unified electronic communication systems to facilitate teaching and learning. These tools combine features like voice, text and screen sharing to facilitate online learning and collaboration. The same capability is increasingly popular for administrative and academic collaboration. This presentation outlines some of the issues around dealing with this overlap.

Simon Collyer's Biography
Simon Collyer is a project manager and researcher at the University of Queensland. He has managed enterprise level projects for elearning, email, portals, and collaboration systems. He has a masters in pure project management and is part of the UQ Business School Strategy Cluster.
