Simon Hookway, Obsidian Consulting Group’s Development Manager, will be discussing the latest trends in Data network reporting and control, as well as discussing how you can perform reconciliation on AARNet’s bill and reporting and management across your network down to the user level.

A Case study with ANU will be used as part of this presentation.

Simon Hookway's Biography
Simon Hookway is Obsidian Consulting Group’s Development Manager. Simon has been with Obsidian for 8 years and prior to working on the Jet Billing System, was the designer and Team Leader for numerous Government open source projects using Python, Zope and MySQL. Now leading the Obsidian’s software development, including the Jet Billing System, Simon is responsible for new development and enhancements. Simon’s experience prior to working on Jet Billing System, included owning and running a WA based ISP, before moving into design & development of data driven websites.

Sharon Tyrer's Biography
Sharon Tyrer is the General Manager at Obsidian Consulting Group and has been with the company for over 4 years. Sharon's background is in IT project management, working within both the Government and Private sectors. Previous to this, Sharon worked predominately within the not-for-profit sector in sponsorship and conference management.
