Mark Williams Mark Williams completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from The University of Queensland in 1986 an honours degree in Computer Science in 1988 and an Arts degree in Chinese in 1995. From 1986 to 1990, he worked in the Network Engineering unit of the Prentice Computer Centre at UQ. In 1990, he spent 6 months working in the ATM development group of Siemens Central Laboratories in Munich beforespending 12 months at the Institute for Switching Systems and Data Technics at the University of Stuttgart, where he studied teletraffic engineering and high-speed networking technologies. Since 1992, he has been working for the Prentice Centre in the Network Services group. He is currently the technical manager for the Queensland Regional Network Organisation and Acting Associate Director of the Prentice Centre.
