OpenFlow and the Software Defined Network
Project W is a Google driven project to develop an Open Source router based on the OpenFlow technology and dumb(ish) switches.
OpenFlow is a key technology used as the base for a new movement in Networking called Software Defined Networking (SDN).
This talk describes the project, and the underlying concepts of SDN as expressed using OpenFlow, and how they have been applied in Project W to develop and deploy OpenFlow technology in a research networking environment.
