Specifically, we will explore the world of Big Content – creating IT infrastructure that accommodates storing, managing and retrieving large amounts of data.

Ingo Fuchs' Biography
Ingo Fuchs, senior solutions marketing manager at NetApp, lives in the world of Big Data, routinely breaking it down into the Big Data ABCs – Analytics, Bandwidth and Content.
Fuchs enjoys diving into the specifics of building content repositories at scale, through scale-out and object storage technologies. Fuchs is a member of SNIA, the Storage Networking Industry Association.
Prior to his current role, Fuchs held positions at DataDirect Networks where he was responsible for product and corporate marketing, and at Quantum Corp. where he was responsible for product positioning and roadmaps for the StorNext data management software and disk product lines.
He has over 17 years of experience in the storage industry and has worked for companies such as IBM and EDS. Fuchs is a published author on various storage-related subjects and has been actively involved in projects ranging from server infrastructure, high-availability, storage area networks (SAN), network-attached storage (NAS) to backup and archiving. He has an engineering degree in information technology from the University of Cooperative Education in Mannheim, Germany. |
