A look into the future of Data Centres: from inside to outside

Christian Bertolini

Data Centre operators, IT Vendors, and major IT players are forecasting an unpredictable future for the Data Centre world.

With new computing styles shaping and demanding new management systems for the infrastructure, soaring energy costs have been identified as a tipping point of Data Centre design. In addition, the trend towards Governments and global standards associations creating rating tools and energy efficiency targets for Data Centres adds a further level of complexity for organisations managing and controlling their very rapidly changing and evolving IT environments.

This seminar will take a look into the future for Data Centres and their related environments (e.g. commercial and industrial buildings). Take the opportunity to hear current concerns raised and view technologies and techniques that Data Centre designers will need to familiarise themselves with to best support their clients.
