Jamie’s IT professional employment history spans over 16 years of industry experience working within organisations as an engineer to management with a combination of positions from contract to permanent.
Jamie’s current role within Dell Australia is as an Enterprise Platform Specialist responsible for the Public Sector across Australia and New Zealand. The platform specialist role encompasses all enterprise DataCentre centric class products including server, storage, networking. Jamie drives enablement around solution sets like Infrastructure as a Service (ITaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), Mobile Point of Present Computing and Cloud based technologies and services.
Jamie is one of Dell ANZ’s keynote speakers, and regularly is invited by leading independent industry analysts to present on Dells strategy in the enterprise.
Jamie advises CIOs and Senior IT executives on the design of high-availability data centre architectures. Jamie is passionate about success - adding value and sharing his experience and winning philosophy. His previous experience working ‘at the coal face’ as an IT Manager means that he understands the challenges faced in the Data Centre in large corporations; he has a knack of articulating very clearly what those pain points are, and more importantly what can be done to take them away. |
