With health networks and high capacity WAN networks making front page news via the Federal Governments NHHN and NBN initiatives this presentation looks at the real impacts of providing extremely high capacity WAN links on day to day operation of geographically diverse medical practices.
A particular focus is placed on the needs of medical imaging applications as a high capacity consumer of bandwidth and the experiences of geographically diverse practices in regional areas (NSW South Coast and far North Qld) as well as metropolitan areas (Brisbane and Perth).
