Managing and Supporting CQUniversity's Network Video Services - An Operational Case Study
CQUniversity has a significant history in the use of videoconferencing and online lecture recordings for teaching delivery. At present, CQUniversity delivers around 100 hours per week of live videoconference lectures across six campuses/fourteen videoconference teaching rooms, and 80 hours per week of on-demand online lectures. The management and support of these services is complex, and is the responsibility of the IT Division. This presentation is the second of two related presentations, and provides an overview of CQUniversity's network videoconference operations from a service delivery and support viewpoint.
The presentation will cover: the services provided to the CQUniversity community, the organisation of the teams that support these services, and the remote monitoring and management tools used by these teams to administrate and support videoconference services in a complex, multi-campus environment.
